Artist Statement: I remember my son playing in the local tee-ball league when he and his teammates were arguably too young to even understand the point of the game. Still, they had loads of fun. It's worth remembering that nearly every big-league slugger or fielder likely got their start under similar circumstances.

About the Artist: John Cole is an all-star, widely recognized and award-winning cartoonist and illustrator, who served as the longtime editorial cartoonist for The Herald-Sun (Durham, NC) and The Times-Tribune (Scranton, PA).
